Attention all Bladers! We’re excited to announce that starting 1st February 2025, Bath TCG will be hosting a brand-new Monthly Beyblade X League. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting your Beyblade journey, this league is the perfect place to battle, improve your skills, and have a blast with fellow fans.

Our first few sessions will very much be about finding our feet, working out the best way to organize battles, and gaining a better understanding of the demand. At its core, it’s designed to be a fun event for everyone where you can “Let it rip” and experience some awesome battles!

The Beyblade X League will, for the most part, be taking place on the first Saturday of every month. We will keep the event calendar up to date, as well as event tickets, so you can make sure you know what Saturday it is taking place on.

We intend to run the events using a Swiss tournament structure (top cut will be in place if we hit the required numbers). Matches will be a best-of-three, and you win a match by being the first to 5 points.

We will provide the stadiums for everyone to battle in, and entry will be £2.50 per person. Tickets can be purchased from our website here. We will be using Challonge to run our Beyblade events each month; to ensure a smoother experience on the day, please sign up here once you have purchased a ticket.

The match scoring system will be tracked as follows:

• Spin Finish: 1 point
• Burst Finish: 2 points
• Over Finish: 2 points (if the Beyblade falls into either side pocket and cannot escape)
• Extreme Finish: 3 points (if the Beyblade falls into the middle pocket and cannot escape)
• Ring-Out: 3 points (if the Beyblade is knocked out of the stadium)

As for the deck format, we will be utilising the 3v3 format. This means that each player uses 3 Beys chosen from their collection, built with no repeating parts. Hide your Bey selection at the start of each match, then present it to your opponent when both players are ready to battle. Don’t have 3 Beyblades yet? Don’t worry, use what you have!

During these events, we expect everyone to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect. Anyone caught cheating, tampering with an opponent’s equipment, or engaging in disruptive behavior will be disqualified. All matches are to be self-officiated unless a judge is called.
